Monster Rod Puppet, 02.29.24

This project is a rod-style puppet with distinct monster-like qualities, distinctive by its neon yellow fur. The puppet is made to be operated with the puppeteer’s hand and up to the forearm so that the puppet can act while appearing to sit on the table. The puppet has controllable 3D printed eyes and a functional mouth capable of opening and closing.

Goal: Choices were made with the goal of enhancing the puppet's realism and engagement. For instance, limbs were created for the puppet to make the character more sympathetic and made longer arms for wider movement.
