Hamster Zone, o3.14.2025

This project is a design for an interactive playground featuring hamsters.​ Young children can race through hamster-themed tunnels and climbing equipment, completing target challenges for prizes.

2D Target Ideation

Visitors can wear RFID wristbands to scan targets around the space to earn points. Other wristband features include: 

​

  • Targets are framed as a hunt for hamster treats!

  • Each band comes with a hamster name (Ex: Chewy, Nibbles, Furball)

  • Names and associated points can be tracked on a screen against other players of the day.

  • Points become rewards that can be traded for small prizes.

  • Targets will have a timed cool down phase.
